I was confused, but no problem.

Those threads that you were bringing forward yesterday afternoon especially after PD complained about it getting "confusing" were being locked up--they were locked up for me too! I was getting really frustrated with it last night! As soon as we all started posting on them they were being closed off!

Yes I can. I have to leave for awhile but will comment on it later today.

I'll see if I can figure something out, but there are no promises. It is often more difficult than people think to make changes to the code that will do some of the things they want.

I see your point. But I'm not looking at dictionaries. I tend to go on the experts who have reviewed the U.S constitution. By the way I'm not that knowledgable of political theory so you're more than welcome to school me on the subject. I am currently at work so I'll look at your link. Thanks for the response.

Well you're welcome to challenge me on your notion of proving that we are a democracy. From my understanding the critical difference between a democracy and what I consider an constitutional republic, lies in the fact that a Constitutional Republic has a Constitution that limits the powers of the government. It also shows how the government is structured, creating checks on its power and balancing power between the different branches. The goal of a constitutional democracy is to avoid tyranny or mobocracy (as one professor wrote).

You can eevn see in the following as proof of our constitutional republic:

"Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution states: "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion . . ."

far too many times in my life I have let those that seek to oppress me speak with authority. no more. I know where I stand in the world and I will not have those that seek to make me invisible have any worth or purpose....I know their game, and it IS a game to them. Two can play it. And the moment I return fire with fire.....the lectures come my way. These people seek to destroy me....I will not give them comfort.
