What state most exemplifies the Southern Tradition?
South Carolina or Mississippi.
I would say Alabama or Georgia. I think Savannah exemplifies Southern Tradition best, or perhaps Mobile, if we are talking cities. Vicksburg comes to mind as well.

Well South Carolina and Mississippi were the first to secede and the Dixiecrat ticket was made up of a South Carolinian and a Mississippian. That's the southern tradition.

Surfing through the various groups, I saw that there was talk about we southerners being inferior to the northerners. Funny, but I bet most of us would have noticed that the main word in the title of the group was missing a letter.
