Obama charged with treason; Romney tactitly assents?

A woman suggested at a campaign event that President Obama should be tried for treason.


The woman, in posing a question to Romney, asserted “We have a president right now that is operating outside the structure of our Constitution.”


She was interrupted by applause from the crowd.


“I want to know," she said before turning to another audience member and saying, “Yeah, I do agree he should be tried for treason. But I want to know what you are going to be able to do to help restore balance between the three branches of government and what you’re going to be able to do to restore our Constitution in this country?”


Romney, after waiting for the applause to die down, answered the woman’s question...

The SCOTUS will determine very soon if Obama is trying to operate outside the structure of our Constitution...

Romney has no obligation to defend Obama or to render his own verdict one way or another and is right not to do so......

It's not the place of the SCOTUS to determine any treasonous or impeachable action by the President. Idiot.

I wasn't privy to the arguments presented to the Justices in the SC so I can't relate what the evidence/arguments were......

Operating outside the Constitution is not necessarily or automatically treason.....treason has certain particular requirements that most laypeople don't know.....

and would not understand in one of two lines....especially you, being the AssWipe fool you are.....

Treason = impeachment and visa versa, the topic of this thread. You opined the SCOTUS would determine Presidential activity outside the Constitution which implied possible charges of treasonous behavior generally don't groan at all but I reserve the right to repay the little gifts left for me. It's the right thing to do, isn't it?

The women was talking to another person in the audience, not to Romney......he choose to ignore her remark made to someone other than him.....

it would serve no purpose to address this remark made to someone else other than draw attention to it and have it noticed more than it

already was...........he answered her question......that was the right thing to do..........

I see something about "attacked the president’s family at the event " in the article/link ???? Whats that all about ?......Who attacked the President's family ?
