Bush wars have cost $3.7 trillion over the past decade

Obama is just as bad a warhawk. He pretends to know its wrong and expand. The blood of the massacres in Afghanistan are in his hands.

Osama Bin Laden bankrupted the USSR in Afganistan. We bankrupted ourselves there too. Thanks, Cheney.

you said we were bankrupt...is that true? and cheney's war? stop being a hack dune. why do you ignore the money obama has spent? why do you deny obama's war?

Iraq was Cheney's war, along with PNAC. They found a willing patsy in Bush, but it was a war borne of idealism/huberis that somehow, with our military, we'd be able to transform the Middle East.

Seriously - you should read up on it sometime; especially PNAC. It's still amazing to me how they've slipped basically under the radar in the CW on the origins of the Iraq War. Every American should know what happened.

Yet when he spent the budget surplus and buried America under a mountain of debt, the Righties were largely silent.

Now that the US is broke because of the Bush policy of tax cuts and wild spending on lost wars, and the 1% has expropriated the wealth of the middle class, they want to start crying about deficits and the cost of "Obamacare"...:palm:

Think it would help if we didn't owe 3.7 trillion for Cheny's illegal war?

Looks like the pinheads need another lesson in history.....real history, not left wing history.....

The latest posting by the Treasury Department shows the national debt has now increased $4 trillion on President Obama's watch.

(Repeat 10 fuckin' times until it penetrates your neanderthal skull)
Thats comparing Obama's 3 years to Bush's 8 years, comprehend Asswipe ?......
==============================================================================================================

That makes Bush a second rate piker at bankrupting the country compared to Obama...

(2 PWNINGS for one)

Both sides are telling it wrong according to factcheck.

Crashing the economy wasn't about power - it was about negligence & fiscal irresponsibility.

Get it straight, Yurtsie.

lol...yeah....we get it...bush is all powerful, even in negligence, but he can't fight two wars....oh no, those are cheney's.

hacks like you crack me up. you blame bush for the economy, but can't give him "credit" for the wars. your BDS is severe. he is a puppet when you want him to be and the one responsible when you want him to be. he is your boogeyman. bush, bush, bush bush, bush, bush bush, bush, bush

You don't know anything about the origins of the Iraq War. If you did, you wouldn't scoff at the notion that Bush was a puppet. He was.

And again - the crash was about negligence & fiscal irresponsibility, not power (repeated, since you seem to have missed that).

But you'll never know whats happened......your history comes from the liberal media.....thats like learning Russian history from Stalin's history books....or China's history
from the writings of Mao.....

Sure thing, bravs. I have little doubt that - if you thought you could get away with it - you'd pin Iraq on Barney Frank...

FactCheck says almost exactly what I posted.....

That shows the nation’s total debt stood at $10.6 trillion on the day Obama took office (not $6.3 trillion), and it had increased to nearly $15.4 trillion by the end of January 2012 — a rise of more than $4.7 trillion in just over three years (not $6.5 trillion).
As a matter of fact, my figure of 4 trillion was a little low, its even worse than I thought.
