And as well, I assume you are referring to the current situation as one with a perception of the absence of wealth, which would have a negative effect upon the market.

You dont even comprehend the meaning of the wealth effect or have the ability to construct complete sentences. The wealth effect, the presence of or the perception of wealth, can drive up the stock market as it did during the rapid increase in home prices before it burst. Just as the absence of wealth and the perception of the absence of wealth is a part of why both NASDAQ and DOW LOST value in the last year. You seem to have some confused idea that the wealth effect, has precisely the opposite effect.

The debt ceiling stunt was a perfect economy killer but sure seemed to kill the peoples interest in the Tea Party as a sane movement.

Now they cant pull a stunt like that again without also distroying their hopes of ending Obamas presidency.

They didnt mind harming the country and the American people but they sure hoped it would end with the outing of Obama.

Now even their willingness to harm the country and the American people for political reasons wont help them.

How did The "debt ceiling stunt" harm the country? He got his unprecedented increase in the spending limit? How did extracting minimal commitments to cut spending in the future, in the deal harm anyone?
