Yes, a constantly changing 1% means that it is not some super duper elite status that no one can break into or fall out of. Most people have to work hard to get there or have some talent (music, athlete, actor) that gets them there. As many have proven over time, it is just as easy to fall out of the 1% if you are bad with money, stop working hard, no longer innovative, etc...
Again... NO ONE gets worried when they see a 'protest' act like a bunch of whiny children. NO ONE. No matter how many times you say it, it won't change it. He shouldn't write it here, but I do the same thing in real life. Many of the anti-Obama people I know are nakedly racist using that word to describe him all the time. I personally use the word when referring to him, in the way that Sean Penn recently did. FTR I do the same thing with the c word and bitch and whore, when I am describing con policy on women. I would never write that stuff here because I understand how i can be misunderstood, often willfully. But I understand where Mott is coming from with that.
And actually, I really like Mott, something that has surprised me since I came back. I used to argue with him a lot. A lot. Now he makes me laugh all the time. I must have mellowed huh? But I'm sorry, he is not hateful. IMO.
