Let's just launch a unilateral bid to topple a foreign government, kill tens of thousands of people in the process, including countless hundreds or thousands of children, in order to possibly more effectively stop a domestic problem which that government in no way condones and is actively trying to stamp out which has resulted in the death 40 children in the past five years.

Publicity only works if the one you are protesting feels shame for their actions. Ghandi never would have worked against Genghis Khan, he would have simply been killed, it only worked against the Brits because they felt shame.

Do you believe that the people paying for these killings and the Priests taking the money feel enough shame for the action for it to stop with publicity?

Who knows, if the ruling powers in Uganda thought that economic aid would be affected as a result that might concentrate their minds.
