Health insurers and employers who offer coverage must provide you with clear, consistent information about your health plan starting in 2012.

I wonder how many of the Rightards who oppose the law know what's in it?

The Affordable Care Act ensures your right to appeal health insurance plan decisions--to ask that your plan reconsider its decision to deny payment for a service or treatment.

The Republicans claim the government has 'death panels', but they want profit-driven insurance companies to decide whether or not you get treatment, and they don't want you to question the companys' decision.

Under the Affordable Care Act, health plans cannot limit or deny benefits or deny coverage for a child younger than age 19 simply because the child has a “pre-existing condition” — that is, a health problem that developed before the child applied to join the plan.

The Right thinks it's OK to let a sick child die if their parents cannot pay the whole cost of treatment out of pocket.

The Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan makes health coverage available to you if you are a U.S. citizen or reside here legally, you have been denied health insurance because of a pre-existing condition, and you’ve been uninsured for at least six months.

Republicans want to repeal this. Remember that when you vote.

Tax credits for small businesses and non-profits help you bring down the cost of providing insurance.

The GOP says taking this away is one of their highest priorities, yet claims to be pro-business.

The Affordable Care Act ensures your right to appeal health insurance plan decisions--to ask that your plan reconsider its decision to deny payment for a service or treatment.

do you tire of your dishonest strawmen? your entire thread, which you obsessively keep bumping in the hopes someone will pay attention to you, is false.

The Affordable Care Act helps preserve your choice of doctors by guaranteeing that you can choose the primary care doctor or pediatrician you want from your health plan’s provider network.

It guarantees that you can see an OB-GYN doctor without needing a referral from another doctor.

The law also ensures that you can seek emergency care at a hospital outside your plan’s network without prior approval from your health plan.

The conservatives don't want you to have these rights. Remember that when you vote.

If his entire thread is false, then why couldn't you be bothered to provide even ONE piece of evidence that refutes what he claims?

Long on rhetoric...short on actual facts...yep, it's a standard issues yurt reply.

it is not up to me to refute his claim. he made a claim and he has not backed it up. he cites articles and then makes an OPINION that is false.

kind of ironic that you don't even bother to try and support his claims. oh no, you just had to attack me instead of talking about the thread topic.

Doesn't the troll have to present evidence ?

I see a lot of claims about "Rightards", "Republicans", the "GOP", more "Republicans" and "the Right" about specific things they are alleged to be against....thanks to yurt

If their is no proof of these specific claims, it all strawman bullshit....

The Affordable Care Act prohibits health plans from putting a lifetime dollar limit on most benefits you receive.

The law also restricts and phases out the annual dollar limits a health plan can place on most of your benefits — and does away with these limits entirely in 2014.

But the Republicans want to repeal the law that affords you these rights.

The Affordable Care Act creates a Rate Review program in your state to help protect individuals and small businesses from unreasonable health insurance rate increases.

Since September 1, 2011, health insurers have been required justify any rate increase of 10% or more before the increase takes effect.

Conservatives don't want you to have this protection. They want to repeal the law.

Actually it IS up to you to refute the points he made.

Y-O-U alleged the entire thread was false...the burden is now on you to show HOW it is false.

The Affordable Care Act strengthens Medicare, offers eligible seniors a range of preventive services with no cost-sharing, and provides discounts on drugs when in the coverage gap known as the “donut hole.”

http://www.healthcare.gov/law/features/65-older/index.html

Why does the GOP think seniors should be on their own in the prescription drug coverage gap? They want to repeal the law.

you're such a hack. you know that is not the way it works. he made the claim, it is up to him to back it up. and so far, neither you nor him as backed up his claims.

the burden is on the person who made the original claim. i don't why i have to educate you about this nearly everyday. you're either dishonest or the dumbest poster on the internet.

It makes insurance more affordable by providing the largest middle class tax cut for health care in history, reducing premium costs for tens of millions of families and small business owners who are priced out of coverage today.

This helps 32 million Americans afford health care who do not get it today – and makes coverage more affordable for many more.

Under the plan, 95% of Americans will be insured.

http://www.whitehouse.gov/healthreform/summary

Why do conservatives want to repeal this law?

Don't they want 95% of Americans to be insured?
