Every time a pro gun bill comes up for debate in a state legislature, about 80% of the law enforcement officers interviewed by the media decry it as a bad bill that will endanger police officers.

Your beliefs are founded in 19th century Germany, not America. And certainly not 18th century America. Anti gun liberals are first and foremost against KILLING. Are you allowed to cross the street yet?

He believes if he says 'the other side has no clue why we got in the mess, but MY side understands it all' enough times that somehow it will become true. It still hasn't dawned on him that his line of thinking is exactly the type of partisan bullshit that keeps this country mired in finger pointing and back biting rather than focusing on solutions. The really sad part is that if he actually bothered to read some of my solutions, he would most likely agree on many of the major points. But he never will bother to read what I post, he would rather shout 'you listen to faux news and Rush' because that is the extent of his debating skills.
