Defiant OC GOPer sends racist email

There has never been a time, presently or in history, where calling somebody a "monkey" meant white, while it is most definitely presently and historically used as a racist slur for black people. It's just self-defeating to pretend that the history and direct current use doesn't exist and therefore make it far more offensive to people to use an image of a black person that way.

It isn't okay to use it for a white guy, I agree. But that doesn't make it better or "okay" to use it for a black guy either. I'd prefer that the GOP take the high road and simply end association of any human pictured as a simian than get behind and defend this usage because "they did it to Bush"...

I will not waste one iota of my energy trying to, or appearing to, defend it. It's wrong to picture humans as simians, it was wrong for Bush, it is wrong to do it with Obama's image.
 
good lord....why are lefties like christie such wussies? apparently obama is such a weakling that no one can use a monkey to depict him, but using a monkey to depict bush is a good thing, and because the left like christie are most likely closet racists.....they have to use the race card when someone compares obama to a monkey. lord forbid obama stand on his own....the left must exploit his half black heritage in order to score cheap political points.

You accused me of playing the race card. You immediately brought up bush. You quickly directed the thread away from the topic and into ad homs.

No one mentioned Marilyn Davenport. No one mentioned the GOP chair Scott Baugh. Nobody asked how the media got hold of this. Nobody commented that even if it wasn't racism, it was stupid and potentially damaging.

You lab mice get an extra helping of pellets in your dinner tonight for performing so brilliantly. :D

Whats to comment on....the Republicans are well known to quickly fold at the slightest hint of being accused of racism....thats the state of political correctness in the country.....the fear of the racist label is so powerful, its actually freaky.....it has paralyzed debate of obvious problems and caused out legislators to ignore serious problems or deny they exist....
Thats the very reason its used by the left with such success.....

You'd have to have your head up your ass for the last 20 years or more not to have this happening.....

Agree with her ?.....I don't know what she said....

But don't fret.....she will fold like a house of cards exactly like I say and for the reasons I stated.....

I defend the picture as being no different than the VERY SAME TYPE of pictures of Bush.....you can do it ....we can do it.....its no different.....politicians shown as monkeys is as old as the country itself....

But it ain't gonna happen....republicans will fold as sure as sunrise in the morning....
