Thank god he didn't say he campaigned in all 57 states....that would have been too much....Isn't Huckabee supposed to be one of the smarter repub presidential possibilities? Busted!

See, the great thing about Bush was that he was a gift that kept on giving. There was probably an average of a gaffe a week, and we could move on from the previous one to make fun of the next.
The fact that we're still hearing "57 states" more than 2 years later speaks volumes. Can't get any new material, connie cons?
do you ever get any new material? all you do is run around claim people can't read, their stupid, their hacks...
the reason the 57 states is still good material is that is shows how someone, who obviously knows how many states there, makes a simple mistake. its the same thing with huckabee, except there are some dems who want to make huckabee's booboo a big stinking deal and tie him in with birthers, despite the fact he has expressly stated he believes obama is qualified and was born in hawaii.....you should understand what i'm talking about mr. runs arounds calling people birthers who state obama was born in hawaii. its the same tired smear as calling people racist.
Its only because its an easy one....See, the great thing about Bush was that he was a gift that kept on giving. There was probably an average of a gaffe a week, and we could move on from the previous one to make fun of the next.

LOL - look at Yurtsie defend the endless repeating of "57 states."
You're funny, guy who shouldn't be posting here anymore...
Huckabee didn't just claim that Obama was raised in Kenya, he claimed that the fact that Obama was raised in Kenya has resulted in Obama having a negative view of the British because of a the Mau May Revolution and is the reason that Obama returned the bust of Winston Churchill. Huckabee's a subscriber of the "Obama's a Kenyan Anti-colonialist" theory of Dinesh D'souza.
It isn't a "booboo" or a simple mistake, Crawfish.
LOL
Don't wade in w/ the big dogs unless you can take the heat, guy who shouldn't be posting here...
you're like pavlov's dog, i ring the bell and you whine for your treat...i have no doubt in my mind you will obsess over being wrong and call me a liar for months, you've done it before. you're nuts like that....its weird and somewhat disturbing how serious and pissy you get over things here...
like i said, you're 99% a waste of time
carry on
do you have a link, because i read an article that indicated his context was indonesia....assuming your version is correct, he could have simply had his facts wrong on where he grew up....NOT where he was born. thats the point here, but its funny how you choose to ignore his statements about obama being born in hawaii and eligible to serve. those comments don't conform to your world view of republicans
How is Capitalism working for you these days, cawacko?![]()
A link for what? You can find his comments as easily as I can. And the point I was making is that Huckabee, in claiming that Obama grew up in Kenya with his Kenyan father and grandfather and in invoking the Mau Mau Revolution in explaining why Obama returned the bust of Winston Churchill is subscribing to the D'Souza's nonsense about Obama being a Kenyan Anti-colonialist. He didn't misspeak, as his publicist has claimed. What the fuck does the Mau Mau Revolution have to do with Indonesia?
And forgive me, Crawfish, if I don't give Huckabee a pass for subscribing to loony tune theories about Obama's world view based on lies simply because he acknowledges the fact that Obama was born in Hawaii.

This is not why Huckabee should be relegated to late night right-wing hate talk shows on public access tv.
The fact that he went on Bryan Fischer's radio show should do that. Google Bryan Fischer and see if he doesn't deserve one of the top spots on any list of despicable people.
I googled 'top despicable people list' and didn't see his name there, the list is pretty full.
Isn't Huckabee supposed to be one of the smarter repub presidential possibilities? Busted!
WASHINGTON – Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee suggested in a radio interview that President Barack Obama's childhood in Kenya shaped his worldview — even though Obama did not visit Kenya until he was in his 20s.
The potential Republican presidential candidate told New York radio station WOR on Monday that Obama's youth led him to resent the West, which he said explains why, in Huckabee's view, Obama's foreign policy differs so greatly from that of his predecessors.
"One thing that I do know is his having grown up in Kenya, his view of the Brits, for example, (is) very different than the average American," Huckabee said, pointing to Obama's decision in 2009 to remove a bust of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill from the Oval Office.
He failed to note that Obama replaced the Oval Office fixture with a bust of one of his American heroes, President Abraham Lincoln, and moved the Churchill bust to the White House residence.
"The bust of Winston Churchill, a great insult to the British," Huckabee said. "But then if you think about it, his perspective as growing up in Kenya with a Kenyan father and grandfather . he probably grew up hearing that the British were a bunch of imperialists who persecuted his grandfather."
