Head to head debate

no stupid...a no thank you and no rebuttal = surrender in a debate

and you still haven't put forth your DEBATE....all you have is other people's words....you can't formulate an opinion on your own

And you are waiting for...................................................................?

In a debate you can't just copy & paste someone else's opinion and claim victory. The only thing this thread has proven is that Bfgrn is a child in addition to being a total prick.

Here's what you do...stick your neck in a vise and close it up until the jaws touch...the pimples will be gone.

LOL? ? Nah, not really.

How about you formulate an opinion and then share it!

Or you can fail at humor for a few posts and then try again.

You don't debate by handing your opponent a newspaper article and then expecting them to refute the author.

Starting to get it yet?

you to actually debate...............................?

if you can..................................!

So, you need me to start huh Yurt...maybe you can ask mommy to hold your hand...LOL

I don't know if the Supreme Court will rule it constitutional. But I believe it is critical America addresses the health care crisis we face. Going back to the status quo is unsustainable for families and businesses.

Too many American families are facing bankruptcy and hardship due to health care costs and insurance companies pushing more and more of the costs for treatments on the policy holder.

It costs companies like General Motors $1,500 per vehicle for health care where competitors like Toyota pay $200. ref

I didn't hand anyone a newspaper, I posted a pertinent segment of a related article. The words are right there on the screen...get it???

You want a formulated opinion...let's start here...

Who said conservatives can't change?

The folks who preach 'personal responsibility' have made a drastic change...they now preach and defend personal irresponsibility.

They don't want to buy health insurance, so if they get hit by a semi, have a heart attack or a burst appendix, it becomes my personal responsibility and everyone with insurance personal responsibility to pay for their treatment and their personal irresponsibility.

We have the new 'welfare queens'...conservatives...

NOW we're talkin'. Now see if you can do the same for the pertinent subject.

This is not an argument for or against the constitutionality of diddly.

Please stay relevant.

Listen you fuck...you don't set the rules here either. You are more than welcome to add your constitutional expertise to the debate. But your man crush Yurt chose the topic, not me. My honest view is I don't know if it will be ruled constitutional. Would you like me to make something up to entertain your lazy ass?

Come on Volt...join in or STFU...so far all we have are a bunch of cowards throwing stones from behind their mommy's skirt.

Dude, it doesn't matter one single flake who chose the topic.

the topic IS....

is the current h/c bill constitutional

Unbelieveable ... Yurt, really is it that hard?

In the case of the controversial provision- the requirement that everyone buy health insurance or be penalized- what DID the Constitution mean to say?

Almost certainly: not a thing!
You how the framers dealt with things like this. The Amendment process. It's been used many times to solve the problem of the Constitution. It would be terribly easy to write an amendment stating Healthcare is a right. Until such time. It's not.

So JOIN IN, or shut your pie hole. Why isn't anyone asking where Yurt is?

So far the ONLY one to post anything but childishness is me.

Here's my solution...we don't even need to address the constitutionality of the individual mandate. If you don't want to buy health insurance, you have two options; provide a $10,000 deposit for self insurance or sign a do not treat waiver. Either put your money where your mouth is or of your life where your mouth is.

You made an opinion. Congratulations on this first step.

Using a substitute bond measure simply frames the mandate in another way.

Insurance is a financial product. The fact that the government has decided to provide such insurance at a gross deficit through medicare and other programs does not prescribe that ultimately the tax payer must self insure through either a bond or a forced purchase.

Forcing someone to purchase a financial product is unconstitutional under the commerce clause/

Your shot.

How bout this solution... Find a better solution that doesn't require nazis to cram a mircoscope up your ass.

How bout the freemarket solution. It's never been tried. Where Healthcare becomes affordable for old, poor and everyone in the middle
