New Senate Will Have No African-Americans

The reduction in the number of blacks and the increase in numbers of republicans has resulted in the average IQ of the senate being reduced to the average american shoe size.
Let trumpets sound, the inmates are taking over the asylum.

This is funny coming from a guy who calls himself LowIQ.

already they've forgotten that Clinton asked Meeks to step to the back of the bus so Christie could win in Florida.....
About a zillion Rs asked Maes to drop out so the party could appoint a candidate with a brain. Instead he insisted on staying in and being the spoiler. Tancredo wanted to drop out, but only would if Maes first dropped so the vacating committee could appoint somebody sane.

Hey Low,
How many times has some stupid Yank said the same thing, here is Damn Stupid Yankee having a go. He is another one who thinks irony is a medical prosthesis!!
Now, now, I realize that you're in an emotional tizzy after watching your fellow liberals in the US get a shellacking on Tuesday evening...

Lets try it this way.....

How many Black Senators did the Democrats votes in on Tuesday....???

Republicans don't put Blacks into Congress? Thats about as stupid a claim as you can make.......
99% of Blacks are Democrats
We can't vote them in if they won't run, pinhead.:palm:

Look at the chart on the site I linked, meathead. :palm:

In the post-Reconstruction era there's been ONE black senator and FIVE black congressmen. It's just ludicrous to claim "we can't vote for them because they won't run". If they *wouldn't* run as repubs it's because they were getting no support from that party.

It's also incorrect. The next Congress will have two African American Republicans in it, apparently when they run, and if they are qualified, we do elect African Americans to Congress.

I didn't follow Colorado much, was the Republican candidate black?.....my point was that the Dems were quick to drop the black candidate if that's what it took to win......I don't think they spent a lot of money supporting Alvin Greene either.....

No. One of the candidates for the House was black, Ryan Frazier, however he lost to Perlmutter after his sleazy nasty campaign funded by Polis and Co turned Ryan in ads into a "lazy" man who would never go to work and who wanted to ship your job overseas. Not even kidding.

He didn't deny my point though, did he? Mind you he has very small feet!

Really?
How do you vote for them if they don't run?
How would you even know about them if they ran and didn't win because liberal wouldn't vote for them them...
Why are you a pinhead?

Heres a few Republican Afr. Amer. ....and I could name dozens more but why should I....?
....
Martin Luther King, Jr.

I, however, was suggesting that the person who you quoted was incorrect, that republicans do elect African Americans if they are both conservative and qualified.
The bottom line is, WE don't elect or not elect Afr. Amer. to any office...

More than half the voters are Democrats and no Conservative Afr. Amer. can win election without Democrats support....

If Afr. Amer. don't win Republican elective office, its the fault of them rather than us no matter how they try to spin it....

Texas CD 30 had two African Americans running. Incumbent Eddie Berniece Johnson, known ethically challenged democrat, and Pastor Stephen Brodan an unknown republican African American. Who did that district vote for? the ethically challenged democrat. a democrat who got caught handing out scholarship money to family and friends instead of her constituents. that speaks volumes about the stupidity of her constituency.

Your party has a terrible record when it comes to putting African-Americans into Congress.

We elected two on Tuesday, we also had the following African-Americans on the ballot...Star Parker (Calif.-37); Ryan Frazier (Colo.-7); Allen West (Fla.-22); Isaac Hayes (Ill.-2); Marvin Scott (Ind.-7); Robert Broadus (Md.-4); Charles Lollar (Md.-5); Bill Marcy (Miss.-2); Michael Faulkner (N.Y.-15); Bill Randall (N.C.-13); Tim Scott (S.C.-1); Charlotte Bergman (Tenn.-9); Stephen Broden (Texas-30); Chuck Smith (Va.-3); and Vince Danet (Vt. Delegate). I count 15 total.

Not to mention, the multitude of Hispanics and women, Marco Rubio is of Cuban descent, he's probably the most notable. So... it looks like the "angry white males" will indeed vote for and elect minority candidates, if they are qualified.

actually, conservatives represent the interests of conservative blacks......and black conservatives would logically represent the interests of all conservatives.....
In reality there are no contradictions. If you find a position you hold to be contradictory then you need to examine the premises that belief if based upon because one of them will be wrong. The contradiction here is that the overwhelming majority of conservative black voters vote for Democrats. Subsequently, one of your premises must be wrong.

You really have to make some pretty dramatic cuts before you're in the territory where you can start talking about lowering taxes. Are Republicans going to take the hit necessary to cut that much? Fuck no. Much easier to lower taxes and pretend you'll do something about spending later. I'm starving the beast! This conveniently means that I don't have to come up with any plan for cuts at the present moment!
