He has no idea. The any key is very dangerous.

When I finally have the server steady... I don't want to make software changes when it hasn't been stable for at least a week.
No big deal,....most of the posters here at Just Plain SOCKS haven't been mentally stable in over a decade! :ROFLMAO:

Okay, so, I chose to use some cache for a quicker site load, etc. However, logins were blocked because I used too broad of a definition in my exclusions and it didn't exclude the necessary ajax phrases used in logins... So, for about 12 hours nobody who logged out had access to the site...

Should be good to go now though. Tested and approved.

Nothing changed that would have caused them to have trouble. The only thing I could think of is they were unlucky enough to hit just as I was rebooting the server after a tweak for speed and their cookie got corrupted. I would tell folks that if they are having trouble, test first with an incognito window, it will force a reload and you will have to log in. Do some hard refreshes of the browser ctrl+shift+r (or if they are using apple for some reason cmd+shift+r).
The hubris... I was so wrong... LOL

That is very interesting to me,....is there any way that this site could have had info stolen from it from this attack? Heres why........there are only two boards I check in on a daily basis,....this one and another site that has nothing to do with politics. Now here's the rub,....ever since we had the attack here I cant get into the other board I go to daily. It takes me to a page that says..."webserver is returning an unknown error, visit cloudfair.com for more info" . Yet when I go to that other board on my phone I get right in,...but still cant as of now on my main home laptop. So after reading your post I went there incognito and got right in! What are the odds of that happening at the exact same time our board was hit??? Way too high to be a coincidence.
That is interesting. I wonder how that happened?
