Back in February Trump said it wouldn’t take very long, in March, a couple of weeks, half way thru April, it’s very close to an end, and along the way we were told a number of times we already won the war. And in the meantime, Iran’s regime is still in charge, no civil uprising, Iran can still attack its neighbors, and Iran maintains its nuclear stockpile which was “obliviated” last head

Getting very reminiscent of Covid, when Trump said it was under control, would be gone in a couple of weeks, by Mother’s Day, in June, etc., etc., etc.

And yet daily we’ll see from MAGA’s, but “Trump said”

They haven't the capacity. Up until this point, Trump has shown restraint. He can strangle the regime

Iran has two exports. Oil and terrorism.

The latter is funded by the former. Without oil exports their economy crumbles and their hold on power diminishes. They dont have the resources to resist

We are not. We do not approve of Trump's war of choice costing us a billion a day .Trump lies about everything. I guess the war will be over in a Trump "2 weeks".
I do not take pleasure in us blowing countries up and killing many people.

“leverage?” Do you think the theological madmen running Iran think about leverage? Their only goal is to hang on as long as they can, and given their tenacity, as shown in the murderous Iran Iraq War, it could be longer than Trump thinks

For beginners, Iranians are masters at stretching talks, Trump’s “big deal” ain’t happening soon if at all, he is not negotiating with real estate competitors. And if Trump starts the bombing again, so will they, even including Saudi’s oil lines next to Yeman

I don’t fault Trump for taking the shot, but it didn’t work, poorly planed, executed perfectly, can’t blame the military, but it has reached the point of diminishing returns now
