Oh how Trump wanted to serve in our military service back in the 1960s during the Vietnam War, but unfortunately due to a severe medical condition he was given a deferment.

After all, if John McCain could get a medal of honor for spending a few years in an enemy prison that had zero to do with him receiving that honor/medal, then Trump should overwhelmingly get the Medal of Honor and the Nobel Peace Prize for coming closer and closer to obtaining peace across the entire world.

John McCain volunteered for combat duty. He flew into some of the most dangerous areas of Vietnam at the time.

"...for spending a few years in an enemy prison..." is about as disgusting an understatement as I have seen in a long time. He was not just in prison. He was also tortured and beaten regularly.

This was for five and a half years. Imagine if you were shoved into a dank, disgusting cell in November of 2021 and just now getting out.

I agree with everything said except for the Medal of Honor. I fully understand the sentiment behind the statement. That said, Trump does not qualify at all and we should never water down what it takes to received the Medal of Honor.

That's what libtards would do. Imagine if we changed the rules for qualifying so Trump could be awarded the Medal of Honor. I guarantee the first chance they had, libtards would give the Medal of Honor to Renee Good and the other loser that got himself shot by ICE. Next would be George Floyd, the crack dealer that died of an overdose. It would never end.

As much as I agree with everything you said, the Medal of Honor is a hard no for me. It's reserved for those who actually faced the enemy and bravely disregarded his or her own safety to save others in the face of nearly certain death. It would be a massive insult to anyone that has received the honor.

While he was being tortured, they found out his connections. They offered to send him home. He said he would stay with his fellow soldiers. He got a lot more torture after that.
