Absolutely black people can be racist. Fortunately for you and I they have never have the power to put it into practice the way white people did for centuries. I also believe women can be sexist, and believe that women are not as smart as men, can't do the same jobs as men. You really think that when Chris Rock uses the word nigger in is stand up it is the same as the Grand Dragon of the Kluckers using the word? Come on now Dixie, you are smarter than that.

Really? Well, I think that is pretty much exactly what he's saying. The argument he presents for why it's okay for blacks to use it and not okay for whites, is basically 'history' and what has happened to black people through the years. I've read his response again, and I can't find another way of describing it, that seems to be his viewpoint.

I actually think it's WORSE when Chris Rock uses the word! With the KKK, we understand their connotation, we know exactly where their minds are at, and what they mean. When Chris Rock (or any black performer) uses the word, it sends a confusing message... is the word okay? Is it only okay for black people? What if white people had a word that black people were forbidden to say? Would you be okay with that?
