I told you sycophants the constitution was clear!

It boils down to how this was seen in the late 1800's. Indian lands were considered sovereign, so being born in one and living on one, did not make a person subject to the jurisdiction.

However a person visiting the United States when a baby is born IS subject to the jurisdiction at that time of their birth.

It is as simple as that.
No, Pretender. The baby is subject to the jurisdiction of it's parents, who themselves are subject to the jurisdiction of their originating nation.

Only legal residents can have American citizens. It is as simple as that.
Where does it say that? The Constitution says what matters if if THEY ARE "SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION". An illegal alien is clearly subject to the jurisdiction. Elk was born in a separate sovran state within the United States.

IN both Elk and Kim Ark, the Supreme Court said that.

Are you dumb, or just stubborn?

Exactly because Elk was born in a separate sovran land (the reservation) when he was born. (not subject to the jurisdiction of the USA)

However, non-citizens when here are not born in a separate sovran land, they are born in a place where they are subject to the jurisdiction.
They are subject to the jurisdiction of their parents, who themselves are subject to the jurisdiction of their originating nation, Pretender.
Its SO simple, but you do not want to understand.
No, It is YOU that is simple and does not want to understand.

Indians that were born off the reservations were still not citizens prior to 1924. If Congress passed and act granting Mexican citizenship they would be citizens. Absent of that Act they are not citizens.

Where does it say that? The Constitution says what matters if if THEY ARE "SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION".
The jurisdiction an illegal alien is subject to is their originating nation, Pretender, even while visiting the United States. Because they are illegal, they are criminals immediately subject to deportation, and their child with them, since the child is subject to the jurisdiction of it's parents.

Of their originating nation, Pretender.

What supreme court case said that? It might have been the law, but if it was the law it was an unconstitutional law that simply did not get reviewed by the Supreme Court.

There's no cogent argument as to why it's bad for America, so what's the point?
Irrelevance fallacy.
People who are born here as citizens to parents who aren't,
Not possible.
are probably on average, more likely to develop a greater appreciation for their citizenship,
Not possible. The child is subject to the jurisdiction of it's parents, who are in turn subject to the jurisdiction of their originating nation.
partly because their parents remember the hardships they suffered back home and keep them reminded of how much better life is here than where they came from.
Irrelevance fallacy. The parents are criminals. They are subject to the jurisdiction of their originating nation. They are immediately subject to deportation.
So you're actually equating birthright citizenship to wife beating and slavery?
Lie. Synthesis.
Like I said above... Americans who are born of parents whose citizenship goes back multiple generations, tend to take this country for granted and treat the great things this country has to offer like they're no big deal or like they're owed to them. People who are born to immigrants and whose citizenship does not go back beyond their own, are probably more likely to appreciate it, to work harder to keep it and to be more respectful of our laws.
Conflation. Compositional error fallacy. Legal immigrants are not illegal immigrants. Stop trying to conflate the two
...deleted random phrases...
let's talk about ending the birthright citizenship of MAGA scum.
MAGA isn't a person, Sybil.

Polly is a sewer bound cracker

Yes, you do. You are all for illegal immigration and stopping their deportation. You revile ICE and want the agency abolished. That makes you for open borders and, in turn, turning a blind eye to all the problems and crime illegals produce.

(Now you'll post up that tired canard about how illegals cause less crime, I'll wager)
Your brain wiring has too few pathways

How do you justify Kim Wong?
they were not here illegally. they were much like Marco Rubio's parents - here permanently and we were ok with it

in what retarded world is that even close to someone that chose to not honor our laws and broke in when we were not ok with their presence here?

How does being here legally or not affect what jurisdiction they are subject to?

You are a vile piece of garbage.
Yes we know you hate anyone who values love over your best girl hate

She loves you huh

If only you could realize what a dip shit you look like to the mostly decent people on this planet

But your fucking broken

So in your tiny brain prison you will stay

Snarling at everyone who passes by
