Seriously is having a national religen not nannyism?

Is legislating who people can marry not nannyism?

Is telling women what medical procedures they can have done to there bodies not nannyism?

Is promoting traditional values not nannyism?

Is limiting what books your children can read not nannyism?

Is deciding where religous institutions can build because others might be offended not nannyism?

Maybe I am blind, but I dont see it with liberalism. At least the way I see it, the Liberals are for more individual freedom. Now freedom for corporations is a different story.

Nope, at some point, allowing certian arms is limiting freedom not allowing it. You are allowing the possession of a weapon that makes it too easy to limit another person's ultimate freedom to live. Now, I dont know that I agree that the line should be drawn at a machine gun.... but that line has got to be drawn.

your vision of ultimate freedom should be banning all weapons, guns, knives, clubs, etc. just like england. they are full of individual freedom.

You want a machine gun? Join the army. Law says it's illegal to own one. So change the law, but quit whining about it. Jesus you are worse than Ralphie and his bb gun.

you should learn more about the law before talking like you think you know it. It is NOT illegal to own a machine gun as long as it was registered and built before May 18, 1986. And the military member doesn't own a machine gun, he has it issued to him by the government. He eventually has to turn it back in, so try to smarten up before looking like a moron.

Not only that but his assertions about social conservatives are mostly wrong as well. But Lib-tards love to put conservatives on the defensive, and I'm not playing that game. Instead:

Jarod, prove your assertions. Provide citations of actual statements that Conservatives have made where they wish to limit your freedoms.

Why are liberals against personal accounts for social security?
Because conservatives want to create a middleman position for themselves and skim their profits. You can save all you want in personal accounts. I'm for raising the cap on SS.

Because the 'freemarket' has priced them out.

Why are liberals for higher taxes on individuals?
Because tax cuts for the rich during recessions and wars is just a money grab. It's time for them to pay their share.
