Then why hide the Epstein Files? What is Trump afraid would be revealed?

Trump's favorite hero is "Alphonse" Capone. Al Capone was sent to prison for tax evasion and died an idiot due to severe brain damage from syphilis. Even though I have no doubt your hero raped 15 year old sex slaves, I also doubt that's what he's afraid of in the Epstein Files. I think he's afraid of a crime he can't escape: tax evasion.

While I doubt he'd ever go to prison, his greatest fear seems to be US taxpayers taking all of his money as a penalty for his tax crimes

Just because they are on the list, doesn't say why they were put on the list. incomplete information created to sustain doubt one way or another.
