Yup but Tim Scott and the Latino vote are the primary reason for this rise in White Nationalism taking over the party.

The republican party had a pretty clear path to gaining real dominating control of Congress and POTUS but that included embracing the POC moving to the party from Dems for religious and security reasons and women having bigger roles.

There was a ton of talk of Tim Scott as next POTUS candidate or a woman.

That is what enraged the white nationalist wing as they knew they would lose the party once that happened.

That is why you see such an emphasis now by the party to push aside POC in all roles and try to force women into traditional value roles to undue that progress that was being made.
