“A leaked memo that circulated through Congress Tuesday details talking points Republicans are expected to use when talking about the Epstein Files as a way to protect President Donald Trump…”

“In essence, the memo gives step-by-step instructions on how to utilize a psychological manipulation tactic known as DARVO (deny, attack, reverse victim and offender) in order to brush aside any alleged wrongdoing by the president, while villainizing his opposition and framing Trump as the victim.”

Did you read the memo? I see nothing about "DARVO"... that's just stuff you want it to say. Reading the memo it relates what the Democrats are doing and seems to show their work. It never mentions or suggests victim blaming. You seem to just assume nobody will actually read the danged thing you linked to, and will just believe the headline without paying any attention.

DO you belive they would put out a memo saying, this is DARVO? No, but its clearly offering ammo to use when Denying, distracting, and reversing blame.

They offer weak arguments for their operatives to use in denying that TACO has any culpability, They say Barr said that no evidence implicates TACO, (that does not mean TACO is innocent and is unrelated to what might be about to be released.) that is denying and attacking Democrats as liars. Then they talk about how "Democrats have demonstrated a sustained pattern of misconduct—", and
"Democrats have continued to beclown themselves by sensationalizing and politicizing the Committee’s review" (That is refersing victim with offender).

So this is clearly a map of how they want Republicans to respond if any negative info comes out about TACO.

Are you blind?

lol.

So, you post saying that the memo talks about DARVO, then when it is pointed out that you are simply lying you come back with "do you think they'd tell them to DARVO?"

You thought they did, you hadn't read it, and now you are trying to cover your turd with sand.

lol.

I said no such thing, I did post some quotes from the article. The article did not say the memo talks about DARVO, It says "In Essence..."

You did, indeed. And it is a way of expressing an opinion which I use often.

In any case, there was an article in the NY Times written by conservative columnist, Bret Stephens which opens with the paragraph...

"Though I tend to think it’s usually a waste of space to devote a column to President Trump’s personality — what more is there to say about the character of this petty, hollow, squalid, overstuffed man? — sometimes the point bears stressing: We are led by the most loathsome human being ever to occupy the White House."

That pretty much sums up the situation.

Where did I say the memo talks of DARVO?

I agree with the rest of your post.

LOL, they don't use the word, that's true.

But they are still describing the tactic.

It's not "victim blaming" it's "reverse victim and offender", which is exactly what they are trying to do. Make tRump the victim.

lol.

No, he said the article talks about DARVO, not the memo.

They are not going to put out a memo that says "use DAVRO to answer questions about tRump and Epstein".

The memo still describes how to use the tactic, it just doesn't name it.

Its what they always do.

It works.

You apparently misread what I said, Jarod. Perhaps I was not clear.

You said, "I said no such thing, I did post some quotes from the article. The article did not say the memo talks about DARVO, It says "In Essence..."

When I said, "You did, indeed"...I was agreeing that you actually said, "In Essence..."

No one reading it should have expected to see the acronym DARVO in it.

Then I mentioned that saying something was said "in essence" is a rhetorical device to express an opinion...which I use often. I was, in essence, agreeing with you and disagreeing with Damo. Even Damo should realize what this paper was advocating and advising congressional Republicans to do to help protect Trump...which, in essence, is to do the DARVO nonsense.

I see a "thumb's down" from you. Which, in essence, means I must not have been clear in what I said. Please read my reply to Jarod above.

Damo you are really dumb but since the guy below made the point you missed i will leave it there...

You come up with the sleaziest hate sites for supposed "sources."

What a joke, fake sources from the fake lawyer.
