I'm not sure why you idiots are trying to argue what is and isn't lawful these days. You've allowed the federal government to blur that line so much, with the PATRIOT ACT, NDAA, etc. that all you're really doing now is playing the game of muddy waters to fight each other instead of forcing the government to adhere to it's constitutional limitations.

Innocent lives in America are being saved, many of them children, every time we bomb a boat that has been determined to be carrying illegal drugs.

In the scenario discussed, the boat was disabled. These people were killed as they held onto the wreckage. There was 0 danger any drugs would get delivered anwyere.
