You don't grasp the difference here. Kelly was an officer. They don't get a discharge. That's for enlisted. Officers retain their commission until they retire from duty and continue to hold that commission in retirement.

Enlisted serve on a contract for a set period of time. Officers are commissioned and remain in service until either they retire or resign their commission. Officers serve at the pleasure of the President and Congress. Enlisted serve under the conditions listed in their contract.

It's two different things and the two are not interchangeable.
 
Yes, he is kept on the retired officers' list. He can be, theoretically, recalled if he violated the UCMJ.

The point is this: he has not done so. He is urging service members they have a lawful duty to not follow unlawful orders.

There is no elements of proof in the UCMJ to charge him with a crime.

The video he appeared in is NOT a crime.

It repeated standard military doctrine:

Troops must refuse unlawful orders. This is taught in every branch.

Officers and Enlisted both get discharge papers, they are orders, they also both get DD 214s.

I will however maintain that after Robert the coward Mueller handed DEMOCRATS HIS FINDINGS, nobody was willing to stand 10 ft deep and indict and impeach that motherfucker for Treason, fraud and lies. Trump himself was heard saying Comey would be his downfall, little did he know, Comey like so many of those cowards, was all just waiting it out, playing it safe, to write books someday. I remember Pelosi walking down the halls, saying "we all need to pray for Trump, when pressed. Its this type of resistance to follow our laws and constitution THAT GAVE US THIS TIRENT, THIS NIGHTMARE OF A LEADER. When good ppl stay silent, EVIL WILL DO NOTHING BUT FLUORISH AND EXPAND.

1. I didn't say you did. I merely pointed out the two examples that didn't fit into this particular take of yours.
2. Remember, Mueller came up THIS CLOSE to giving full-fledged recommendations for impeachment. That was the main complaint by many political observers. YOU DON'T GET IT! Kelly is (wait for it) WELL WITHIN HIS LEGAL RIGHTS TO QUOTE MILITARY RULES AND REGULATIONS THAT CONTRADICT THE ACTIONS OF DUMP AND HIS STOOGE HEGSETH. Real officers look out for the troops, so giving them information that will help them in the field is SOP (or should be).

Hegseth is a fucking cartoon .... a Fox Noise blabber mouth elevated by a draft dodging con man to a position HE WAS NOWHERE NEAR QUALIFIED TO HANDLE UNDER REGULAR MILITARY RULES FOR PROMOTION.
