Notice that Trump has been claiming that tariffs have nothing to do with rising prices. Even lying that prices are not increasing at all. Yet, he turns around and lowers tariffs on coffee and the such to make it more affordable.

Now, we all know how fucking stupid his cult members are, so the irony in that will evade them. Does he really think the rest of America is that fucking dumb?

No, he's hoping that enough of America is dumb enough for his continued political survival. Republicans' continued power rests on trump's popularity which is why they're all complicit and participating in every one of his coverups.

Yep Trump put high tariffs on a lot of things and now he is cutting them back and trying to clam he is lowering the price .
He does that and the MAGAS are so stupid they believe he is lowering the price when it was his tariffs that drove up the price in the first place.
MAGAS really have to wake up and see what is going on.

And I don't think the thought that the exporting countries and importers would pass at least part of them on to the US consumer driving up the cost of just about everything we buy even came across his mind.
They ate part of them but when it starts cutting into their bottom line they will pass them on and maybe even add a percent or two to pad that bottom line.
And not all of them have gone into effect yet.

There is other coffee on sale and if you're patient as I suggested prices will even out... It is not difficult to shop affordably these days... We're putting together complete Thanksgiving dinner boxes for around twenty five dollars for a family of six...

Yes, tariffs are inflationary, and Trump is trying to convince people they aren't. That is the least of my worries about this guy.
