My Sister in law was valedictorian of a huge high school she graduated Summa Cum Luade from college with a Mechanical Engineering degree she also has a Masters in engineering. She is the most unassuming person you could ever meet. Her son has a degree in Bio-engineering. but he teaches Calculus in high school because that is what he wants to do. She tutored him on Calculus and helps him grade papers. Her dad was an alcoholic and she had six siblings and she was poor so she realized that if she was going to go to college she needed an academic scholarship. So she studied hard became valedictorian and got a full scholarship. As you can tell I have a lot of respect for her.
