Trump faces more shutdown blame, but Americans remain divided: poll​

  • Thirty-nine percent of Americans blamed Trump and Republicans in Congress for the shutdown, compared to 30% who blamed the Democrats. Another 31% said both sides share the blame equally.

  • Over half (52%) of Americans disapprove of how Trump is handling the shutdown. Fifty-two percent also disapprove of congressional Republicans' handling of the lapse, with 49% disapproving of congressional Democrats' handling.

Government workers are being fired because there is no money to pay them due to Democrats refusing to open the government that they shut down to continue giving free health care for illegals.

When the Democrats voted down clean CRs 7 time they actually refused to pay the military and put government worker of being permanently fired

Illegals prosper in this nation due to WHITE/JEWISH corporations that want cheap labor. Those drugs have been coming through for decades. Have you been in a home for tha last few decades? This predated Biden by a lot.

A lot of the money allocated in that bill, was excessive spending on projects outside of helping the American Stupid and needed to be blocked....Trump is allocating millions to ICE.

There were 8 CRs one was offered by Dems and it required permanent concessions.

The other 7 clean CR. They did not require permanent concession and would have continued funding the government as it was being funded before the shutdown with our adding extra demands thus allowing more time to negotiate in good faith.

That is some funny stuff on your part. There are 2 different continuing resolutions that have been vote on since the shutdown. HR5371, S2882

Maybe you should check your facts. Both of the bills have been voted on 7 times. Both were rejected 7 times. In the case of S2882, all GOP Senators voting voted against it.
Since the shutdown. There have only been 5 votes on each bill - Oct 1, Oct 3, Oct 6, Oct 8, Oct 9
 
The Republicans have introduced clean CR bills that would fund the government, the military…Air Traffic Controllers…etc. and the Democrats continue voting them down to provide free healthcare care for illegals.
