All the while a relief well was being drilled, in fact two relief wells....
The Coast Guard was on the scene the night of the explosion, booms were deployed that first morning by THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!
Fires were set on the thicker part of the oil to burn it off.
Teams of enviromental experts were deployed by the presidnet in the first week to determin the extent and vastness of the spill.... All the while BP, tried to hide the ball from the government and the American people...
Yet you people who consider President Obama the devil cant admit anything was done.... You pretend he did NOTHING!

Each fix took longer, those attempts had to go through approvals, often to the detriment of the fix itself. The booms were curled up on the beach like used toilet paper practically the next day, each time a suggestion was given that could have mitigated the problem it too had to go through several feet of red tape (including absolute refusal like the Dutch sweepers)...

All of it is true. Holy crap, we hear how they stopped barges in LA from removing oil so they could fricking count life jackets! At every step he's been in the way or hosting fricking singers while going to COWATK meetings.
He has absolutely mishandled this, has been ineffective in removing important barriers to getting work done, and off target and timing on figuring out "Whose Ass To Kick"...
He has majorly screwed this one up, and deserves the criticism he is receiving.

There's whole threads of it. Even the Admiral talks about it. Thirty days before they'd even ask for them and they are STILL NOT BEING USED.
Ive seen tuns of threads of people writing about it.... noone with any proof, not even a cite to anything creditable.

The reality is, the Admiral even said they refused the Dutch arms... in the same story that he was totally incapable of even mentioning the name of one nation that was being allowed to help. Not even one.
I was provided with "proof" when I previously asked... they gave me a press release that said the Dutch Arms were being shipped that day... But nothing about when they were requested or why they were being shipped late.
