Farm Sector Income & Finances- Net Income Up 40.7% from 2024.

ROFLMAO.

I wonder why my neighbors never burned their fields like you say they have to when they grew sorghum for silage to feed cattle on their feedlot.

Hmm.. Not even a grain? Sorghum is similar to corn in that sometimes it is grown for the grain and sometimes as silage.
In 2023, the US produced 317 million bushels of sorghum.

I am quoting from the USDA which isn't the internet. You would be the one posting bullshit on the internet. Are you claiming that you are fucking retarded?
You have never touched or hacked at sorghum, retard. With a bush axe, even.

I see the "fucking internet retard" has decided to keep posting.

You didn't know sorghum was a grain. You think the fields have to be burned.

I can't wait to go back to where I grew up and inform all the farmers at coffee how sorghum has no food value so they are starving cows when they feed it to them and how they need to burn their sorghum fields in order to plant anything else. They'll all have a great laugh at your expense. I am curious as to which sorghum growing state you have lived in. Perhaps you can tell us. (I have been in sorghum fields and I have fed sorghum silage to cows so fuck off with your 'never touched' bullshit. )

Boy, there sure are a lot of fake videos of harvesting sorghum on Youtube using the same machines used to harvest corn, wheat and alfalfa. They must be fake because some "fucking internet retard" just told us it's impossible to cut even with a bush axe.

This is a government site, so who controls what gets posted on this site????? Trump?????

Read deeper into the report and it says that farmers were given $40b in handouts (on top of loans) and that sales of farm commodities are supposed to show a drop in income in the coming year.
Oh; please quote that about 2026 from the report.

Using tariff revenue to counter Chinese boycotts of soybeans =/= "handouts".
It is investment in our continued national security.

It seems you are confused about when crops are harvested.

Why do you think an increasing deficit is in our national security?
Trump promised that the tariffs would pay for the drop in income taxes from his tax cut. (It won't.) Now you are saying he is going to use that money to bribe farmers. (Which will only further increase the US debt.)

Your statement: "...are supposed to show a drop in income in the coming year."

This year's harvest is in 2025; the coming year's harvest is in 2026.

Der.

The coming year is the next 365 days. Next year would be 2026.

The stupidity of Grok is very GROK.

Except that money was supposed to be used to pay for the reductions in income tax revenue. All Trump is doing is creating more debt than any other President not named Trump.

Trump 45 - 8 trillion in debt.
Trump 47 - ?? trillion in debt

Rights are insane in their crazy beliefs. Trump is on TV now saying that because farmers are hurting so badly, he will take some of the tariff money and give a bunch to farmers. Yet, you idiots jump into this completely dishonest thread agreeing with a false premise. You have no shame.

Awesome news!

If they are doing so good why are so many saying they might be going bankrupt because of Trumps tariffs and the way he is handling the economy?
Bing.com???

Your entire article talks about forecasts, which are estimates of the future.

It's not addressing what is happening right now.

No one is surprised that the Trump Department of Agriculture would issue a highly optimistic press release that looks towards the future with rose colored glasses.
Not surprising that good news or forecasts make you cry and flail.

Farm income is projected to increase because Trump is giving farmers increased welfare payments, aka taxpayer funded government handouts. Your own article says that. Crop receipts -the core business of the farming industry - are dropping in general.

"U.S. farm income is projected to significantly increase in 2025, driven primarily by large government payments and a strong livestock sector, offsetting a decline in crop receipts." - Google AI
Lie, lame and retarded.

Not surprising that MAGA morons are bragging that farmers are going to make more "income", and that's because they are being given more government welfare handouts.

It's not because American agriculture is performing well in the international commodities trade.
