I have a feeling that when the dust settles - his ratings will be higher than they were.
I'm sure a lot of people tuned in the other night because it was such an event. But it's likely some will stick around if they enjoyed the show, to add to the viewers he already draws.
I'm not a Kimmel fan. But I'd like to see higher ratings, just as a 'how ya like me now?' kind of thing back to the gov't.

He has said many times he will quit after this contract ends. He has been on for 23 years. ABC would love to keep him going. Kimmel has hosting many big TV events. He is also hosting Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Your right wing hate makes you blind.
