They work, but they are not the same. The muzzle energy and trajectory is completely different. They are quiet, but not silent. About as loud as a small hammer hitting a cutting board. You wouldn't hear it in a crowded environment from 100 yards away.

Yes, a hit-man will go for a head shot, at very close ranges, where a hit is certain. No, they won't attempt it from 200 yards.

This guy, whoever he is, was allot better than the maggot who attempted to kill Trump, but he wasn't a top-tier professional. A top-tier hit-man would have used a subtle poison, and no body would ever know the death wasn't natural.

And he did get away. And that rifle and rounds that was found, was a plant. A deception. A message.

My guess, the guy was an Iranian Guard hit-man. But I can't prove it, or even substantiate it. Call it a hunch.
