The Trump administration is aggressively stoking tensions with Venezuela and its president, Nicolás Maduro, and appears to be creating conditions that could lead to a military confrontation.

A major buildup of U.S. naval forces is underway outside Venezuela’s waters as the administration has stepped up belligerent rhetoric about fighting drug cartels and labeled Mr. Maduro a terrorist-cartel leader. All that raises the question of whether the end goal is just to counter drug-smuggling boats, or a potential regime-change war.

Sounds like his excuse to suspend elections because he says we CAN NOT have any elections if we are at war.
So lets start a war so we have one.
And as I have asked if that was true and it isn't , how have we had elections over the last 70 plus years , the Korean war, Vietnam war , Iran ,Iraq.
Trump is a want to be dictator , and has been ruling like one and it is time for CONGRESS to step up and do their JOB and impeach him and when the Senators take the oath to vote on the evidence they should stand behind that oath and not break it and come out afterwards and tell us they didn't vote to remove Trump from office even though the evidence showed he did do what he was charged with like McConnell and several other Senators came out and told us.
IF those Senators HAD upheld that oath we would NOT be having the problems we are having now.
IMO there should be a harsh fine or some type of very harsh penalty put against these Senators for breaking that oath.
and I mean a really HARSH PENALTY , very harsh penalty.
You take an oath to do something you need to stand behind that oath .

We managed an election during the Civil war, but this can no longer be expected.... the people are much lower quality now.

Venezuela and now Colombia want to become part of BRICS. Trump is following a similar playbook used by Hillary/Obama in Libya to kill Gaddafi. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

I have to laugh at you partisan stooges who spend all day fighting like Crips and Bloods. We're going to a nuclear WW3 and there's nothing you can do to stop it.
