Incorrect. You are equating Democrat lawfare and bullying with lawful due process. Trump was a President and Mar-A-Largo should never have been raided, while Bolton is committing a crime if he is holding classified documents.

It isn't close to the same. Bolton never had a legal right to keep classified documents in his home. The POTUS does. What those like @Jarod don't grasp is that even Republican presidents have the powers outlined in Article II.

Bolton was never president and has no authority over the classification and declassification of documents. He had no authority to remove documents from a SCIF.

The SCOTUS ruled otherwise - fake lawyer.

The POTUS has absolute authority over the classification and declassification of documents. Obama's "Assault on Mar-A-Lago" was 100% political with zero support under the law.

Further information: This was not an "assault." Agents did not have automatic weapons, armored vehicles, nor did they have service weapons drawn - unlike the paramilitary assault by the Obama/Biden team against their political opponent.

Agents presented a search warrant with neither theatrics or threats.
