No, it's not. The MSM is picking up on the exceptions, not the rule and turning those exceptions into the rule because they loathe and hate Trump.

As for our "immigrant heritage," we have NEVER as a nation accepted illegal or unregulated immigration any more than any other nation would. We also would not take criminals, the mentally ill, or those with serious or communicable diseases. In the Ellis Island years, any one of those three would get you into detention followed by deportation.

Uncontrolled, unregulated, endless, immigration has never been a part of US heritage.

The undocumented population in the country is about the same as it was in 2020 and not significantly more than it was in 2000. What’s changed dramatically are the politics.

As Trump likes soldiers who weren't captured, he likes Americans whose ancestors were North European.

Wrong! It was by all official accounts between 11 and 15 million when Biden took office. Each year, by various estimates, 2 to 4 million entered the country illegally. That means at the end of four years somewhere between 8 and 16 million entered the country. That means, in turn, that the illegal population under Biden in four years DOUBLED.

The Migration Policy Institute (MPI) recently released its latest estimates of the size of the U.S. unauthorized immigrant population, finding that between 2019 and 2023, the unauthorized immigrant population grew by 3 million, or an average of 6 percent per year.
They claim a 25% increase.

As you can see, the population of illegals grew dramatically by everyone's estimate in the Biden years. What's not clear is the true amount being anywhere from a low estimate of about 6 million to highs--some wildly high--of about 20 million. I'd say given all I've read is that somewhere between 5 and 10 million new illegals / undocumented entered the US during the Biden administration.

It is one graph of many you 'tard. The point I am making is the overall population of illegals during Biden's term exploded and grew at an exponential rate. The overall picture on illegal immigration is one of nobody really knowing what the exact numbers are and substituting "educated" guesses for that. Those favoring illegal immigration downplay the numbers, while those opposed exaggerate them.

Even what is being called an illegal / undocumented alien is open to some question with most of these studies.

Well, they've been claiming '11 million' since Reagan, which means nobody new has come in since the 1980's according these halfwits.

I'm trying to give the range, and that's what the official numbers say. That doesn't mean they're correct and I agree. It's pretty clear that the illegal population hasn't been a constant for decades.

It's the graph you put up, genius. Your numbers are unsupported. You may be mixing them with mere border contacts. The Biden number peaked at around 12 million, the same number as in 2008.

The intelligence of Americans has been plummeting, I just yesterday heard someone say that the problem really picked up speed around the turn of the century, which might mean that it is reliance on tech related.
