Fear of Atheism

There is no such thing as a 'moral relativist'!
 Just as I predicted. This militant atheist wants to holler that there is no objective morality, but then she get offended at having to defend and justify moral relativism.

It's either one or the other, ma'am. You can't tap dance around trying to avoid both.

Morality is either objective, or it's subjective.
Wrong. It is a subjective term.
There is no such thing as being a little pregnant, or morality being partly objective.
That's right, Sybil...yet you claim it somehow is.
You want to claim on the one hand there is no objective absolute right and wrong,
1+2=3 is right. 1+2=4 is wrong.

but neither do you want to own up to the consequences of atheism: that morality is relative and subjective.
Atheism doesn't claim a 'morality' at all per se. It claims NOTHING.
At least the great atheist intellectuals Camus and Sartre had the integrity to own the consequences of atheism: moral subjectivity.
They are not atheists.
Morality is a subjective term.

 Just as I predicted.
You didn't predict anything! :rofl2:
This militant atheist. There is no such thing as a 'militant atheist'.
I am not an atheist.
wants to holler that there is no objective morality,
There is no such thing as an 'objective morality'. Morality is a subjective term. You are bullshitting again.

Seems that when people (even on JPP) have something more akin to fear of atheists than simple dislike.

There are posters on here who are, by their own admission, not necessarily dedicated to any faith but find atheism to be something worse than anything they can imagine. They can be accepting of all religions but when atheists show up they are compared to Stalin and Pol Pot.

Studies show repeatedly that atheists are among the least trusted people in American society. It's an interesting effect to realize that people are so irrational about their beliefs that the mere existence of someone who doesn't believe as they do causes undue consternation and anger. Just for existing and saying "Yeah, I don't think that I believe that".

But the weirdest part is the apparent FEAR people have of atheists. It's almost more of a knee-jerk reaction than a thought out position. Especially when one can justify the abject horrors many religions have unleashed on the world.

Strange.
Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot. More than 52 million combined under their reigns of terror were scared to death of atheism.

 "Moral Relativity" = "Moral Subjectivity" for everyone who isn't lame enough to play word games 🤣
There is no such thing as 'moral relativity'. There is no such thing as 'moral subjectivity'. Your word games won't work, Sybil. Morality is simply a subjective term. It's obvious you don't know what 'subjective' or 'objective' mean. You can't cover your illiteracy and bullshit with word games.

yes there is such a thing as objective morality.

we can discuss it if you care.

There is no such thing as 'objective morality'. There is nothing to discuss. Buzzwords don't need discussion.
yes there is such a thing as objective morality.

just like there is a behavioral recipe to achieve a high trust society.

war monger kill freaks like you just hate peace and morality, its bad for your blood money businesses.

But aren't ALL religions just built out of someone's personal experience with God?

Isn't that how all religions started? How could their personal relationship with God be so flawed if more than one person shares it?
Organized Religion, has the added thing of having a building and the expense that goes with that
