Yah I don't know. And unlike trumptards who dare not speak badly of their party or dear leader - I agree - the Dems lack a clear message or leader.

I guess Democrats should take a page out of the trumptard's playbook - find a charismatic tv personality with zero government experience - like Oprah - then run a campaign with lies like "the trump family eats pets" - then lie about their opponents background - "J.D. Vance was actually born in Russia to communist parents - I have people in Ohio doing investigations and you won't believe what they're finding - I'll have an announcement very shortly about it". - then never have the announcement.

Then, of course, if the Democrats lose? Just claim, "the election was rigged" and storm the Capitol!

That should do it! What do you think?

I actually addressed this back in 2016 the first time Trump was running.
I’ll do it again.
What Trump does works for him. Nobody else. He brings his opponents down to his level to play his game and he wins every time.
So far no one has figured out a way to beat him and Dems and republicans are mostly silent.
I admit it’s baffling.

The Democrats need to run someone who is even just close to a Centrist and mean it. AOC, Berine Sanders, Warren, and the usual bunch of radicals and Leftists they run these days stands no chance against even a mediocre Republican candidate--like Trump--who is running as a Centrist and means it.

Being a Democrat that pays lip service to running to the Center and then will govern like a Leftist isn't going to fly today. The internet and interconnectivity of people because of it means the bullshit detectors will go off and everybody and their uncle will know that it's bullshit. The Democrats really need to ditch their Left wing if they want to win.

Remember Martin O’Malley?
He was a centrist, intelligent and well spoken but Dems called him a racist because he implemented policies that reduced violent crime when he was governor of MD , so he had no chance in their primaries but probably could have won the general election.
Andrew Yang was another good one. He ended up quitting the Dems for being too radical.
I just don’t see Dems giving a centrist a chance any time in the near future.
AOC and David Hogg is their ‘future’.
I’d bet on a far right candidate before a far leftist to have success. That’s the trend worldwide.

The Democrats have gone hard Left and that means they're going to be stuck in the 20's in terms of polling for forever. Sure, Leftists like Sanders, AOC, Warren, et al., can win locally but they have ZERO chance of winning nationally. The majority of Americans aren't going to vote for a Leftist, it's that simple.

There's little to no chance the Democrats will turn back from the road to Hell they're on because the Left NEVER gives up power once they have it. Since the Left now has effective control of the Democrat party, they are going to push harder and further Left with their candidates. The only possible way they can win nationally is to find another smooth-talking frontman like Obama who lies their ass off to the public only to shift hard to the Left once in office. Then they get two years and thrown wholesale out of Congress and back things go to a bottleneck of nothing getting done.

If they're up front with their rhetoric and proposals on what they'll do in office, they stand ZERO chance in a national election. That is they say stuff like:

We're coming for your guns!
National, universal, government run healthcare with few or no alternatives!
Taxes on everything!
Eat the Rich!
More regulations!
Open borders and citizenship for everyone!
More government!
Handouts for everyone (except the Rich)!
Reparations for slavery!
Ban cars but more trains, busses, and bicycles!
Workers will be unionized, like it or not!

It's that sort of Leftist, "We know best," sort of pseudointellectual arrogance that causes them to lose every time. They don't know what's best and can't figure out that they are nowhere near the best or brightest when it comes to governance.
