The remora of JPP
Since when are they not able to teach?
Good.Lots of disappearing DEI Programs and administrators
wow, I didn't know that was happening, but not surprised. Education has changed to being unrecognizable compared to when I was a kid.Special Ed... Hope it goes back What it was intended to be ... Instead of a dumping ground For anyone who wasn't adding to statistics at that particular time... Who are causing behavior problems in Regular classroom..
my sister told me the exact same thing. She tried going back into teaching after being away from it for about 10 or so but couldn't handle the lack of discipline and zero support from admin. Everybody passes and moves on to the next grade. Turning in homework assignments is now optional.. How things have changed from from when I began teaching to now.. But it was going downhill my last fifteen years...
Not in public schools, at least in Louisiana anyway.I will be thrilled to see teachers get their schools back and be able to teach again...
Shut up stupid.Since when are they not able to teach?
Something HAS to be done about grade inflation. Grades have become almost irrelevant.Lots of disappearing DEI Programs and administrators. Major staff and program changes In the local schools... I'm
Still waiting to see what's going to happen to Special Ed... Hope ot g goes back What it was intended to be ... She made the claim.Shut up stupid.
I am no you, Sybil. You are Sybil.
She's right. What would you know about all that? She made the claim.
Random words. No apparent coherency.I have checked. "Democrat" is not an adjective, for example.
A very conservative friend of mine who is a teacher would disagree. She's right. What would you know about all that?
I hope that the changes affect all states.... Someone who goes into teaching just wants to teach... They don't leave because of the kids. They leave because of the adults.Good.

Exactly... there are just so many problems... When you hear about kids graduating from High school who can't read that's very possibly the truth.... Remember when attendance was actually mandatory? That kind of thing... smh...Something HAS to be done about grade inflation. Grades have become almost irrelevant.
Links, links. Fuck your links. No link to the claim?
@TOP has quite a follower.Links, links. Fuck your links.
My sister went back to teach at the middle school we went to. (Called Jr. High Sch. back then.)Exactly... there are just so many problems... Go away. You add nothing."Principle"
Very understandable...After all, she went back to teach...not to babysit , move the kids out like cattle, and help the administration fudge numbers to get money the teachers never see...Which is why I mentioned that teachers just want their schools back...they go into teaching to teach... Our kids deserve so much better...My sister went back to teach at the middle school we went to. (Called Jr. High Sch. back then.)
Unfortunately she tried to teach the same way she did when we were there and when she taught at a private school in Baton Rouge.
Homework assignments for a grade, tests, attendance, etc. You know how the old rules were.
When we went there schools were segregated and it was all white. Anyway she said it was about 40% Mesican, 40% black and maybe 20% white and she tried to teach and discipline the same way we were.
The principal, who is a black female, called her in to her office and accused her of being rayciss.
She left the office, went home and never went back.
Can't blame her.
I did basically the same thing at an Alaska Native Clinic where I worked part-time after selling the practice.
