Through those discussions, there was a commitment, as you mentioned, to increase border security. So, Mexico made the decision to maintain 10,000 troops at its southern border, resulting in twice as many daily migrant interdictions. Guatemala surged 1,500 police and military personnel to its southern border with Honduras and agreed to set up 12 checkpoints along the migratory route. Honduras surged 7,000 police and military to disperse a large contingent of migrants.
Mexico also sent troops to border during Biden administration
U.S. President Donald Trump said he would delay imposing tariffs for a month as Mexico agreed to send troops to the border in 2025.

We were talking about the first Trump administration vs the Biden administration. I said Trump got Mexico to put troops on the border during his first administration (2019) by threatening tariffs. Indeed, they opened the border and President Trump has to deal with the millions let in, many of whom have raped and murdered Americans.

Yes but the Biden administration did not start till 2020. Trump had Mexico send troops in 2019. Which is first 2019 or 2020?
They must come legally. No other country opens their borders and allows tens of millions to enter unvented.

They undercut the average working man's wages. Jobs like framing , concrete and roofing could once support a family. Not any more. Their kids cost an average of $14,000.00 a year each to educate. They still require medical and fire and police. The ones that end up in prison cost us 39K a year. They still drive on our roads and use our infrastructure bridges etc. And very few if any income taxes. They cost us more than they contribute.
