Oral history is generally reliable within a three-generation callback time period

No doubt he's incapable of full time employment, and is probably on public assistance, even while cheering for the party that would love to slash public assistance.
Agreed. It also appears he's living with his parents. His mental state is one reason why I believe his interaction with white nationalist militia members was likely to make him a patsy for an attack on a federal building.

Okay Perry, I suggest you talk to your shrink about me and get your grievances off your chest in a therapeutic medical environment.

Thank you for not disagreeing with my point. Your tacit accession that you do, indeed, seem to hold Jesus' teachings in low regard is clear for all to see.

Thank you again. It is rare for you to be so honest about yourself. Thank you for this.

He's mentally ill as shown by his fantasies and inconsistencies. This kind of behavior would quickly see him terminated in any but the most menial jobs. Some might say, "well, he's just playing on the Internet", but I disagree with those points of view when the person displays the same behavior for years.

See? This is what I was talking about earlier, Douchie. You have these beefs with literally everyone except Cy. You sit all day long fantasizing about everyone's "mental illness" and your fantasies are SO DETAILED you imagine their mommies and their nurses and the computer times. Fuck, you even track people's activity on JPP so you can build out your fantasy even more.

Do you ever get the idea maybe YOU are the sicko?

Nope. Oral history is not considered valid. Historians have standards to maintain and only first-hand accounts are acceptable. Your bogus premise gets your argument discarded.

Dutch-Dutch lives to respond to Cypress' posts with "Agreed."

There are five billion smart phones on the planet, at this point there should be crystal clear and unambiguous video records of alien spaceships.
The term is UFO (Unidentified Flying Object), not AFO (Alien Flying Object). UFOs are terrestrial in nature, just unidentified and unexplained (officially). All those for which there is clear imagery are no longer UFOs. Where did "alien spaceships" enter the picture?

Herodotus is our primary sources for the Persian emperor Xerxes and for the history of the Greco-Persian wars. Herodotus was never an eyewitness to the Persian wars, and was writing decades after Xerxes died

Why are militant atheists always pointing to religious leaders as the gold standard of morality?

You don't need to make Jesus, Siddhartha Buddha, or the Dali Lama your aspirational benchmark.

Surely history's great atheists, Nietzsche, Marx, Camus, Sartre, Richard Dawkins, should be your benchmark, no?

I command thee demon by the power of jesus christ to reveal your name!
The power of christ compels you!
The power of christ compels you!

So how goes that suicidal super ego sociopsychopathilogical homicidal human farming of Christiananality pedophilia human reproduction medical pseudoscience conclave in mass murder forgoing rational laws of nature and nature’s God ?

Herodotus is our primary sources for the Persian emperor Xerxes and for the history of the Greco-Persian wars.
Herodotus simply served as a scribe, writing down the first-hand accounts of those he interviewed. Herodotus was an historian; he only worked off of first-hand accounts.

People with at least a third grade education understand that UFO enthusiasts generally believe these phenomena are aliens from other planets.
People with at least a third-grade education understand that the designation "UFO" means that the flying object is unidentified/unexplained, not that it has somehow been identified as an alien spaceship. I shouldn't be the first person to teach you this.

HaHaHa!

That's exactly the way much of our knowledge of ancient history works, by people writing down an oral tradition they received from eyewitnesses or from reports of people who knew the eyewitnesses.

That's exactly what I said in post #1. Herodotus never met the Persian emperors, and he was not a witness to the Persian wars.

"Reliable historical information about individuals and events generally relies on three-generation call back. Having access to testimony from eyewitnesses, people who know the eyewitnesses, or people who knew the people who knew the eyewitnesses only persists for about 120 years, or through the lifespans of three generations."
