Who gave them amnesty? Republicans.
Not deported, simply remaining with their parent who was. It would really depend on whether I believed the other parent would allow visitation. The same way I would feel if one of my grandchildren moved to another state.

Here's the real question. The mother could have just as easily said the child should stay with the father, but chose not to. Now why do we assume that the father was better placement? Is it because the county she was deported to has brown skinned people that you believe the child is somehow in an abusive situation?
IMHO, your insistence that the child's mother is a poor choice simply because of where she lives is racist, and democrats should avoid such assumptions.

See that he is identified as the legal father on the birth certificate... or joint custody.... Which you mention specifically....only a mention of him wanting to take the child... If he's on the birth certificate and has legal joint custody he should be able to go and get the child......Were you ignoring me?

A two year old child does not have that sort of freedom, even when not in custody. This is a two year old child in custody, so even less freedom than a normal two year old child.
