No one is going to jail, but it is a major embarrassment for the Trump Administration, it is what happens when you pick TV talking heads with zero experience as Department heads.

And what is really compromising is that it further showed the European nations, our oldest and most loyal allies, that the Trump Administration thinks of them more as an afterthought than friend

Heard it, along with the other two, you could tell coming so quick after the story broke they didn’t have their “official” WH talking points down yet. Even Cotton, the Committee chair, was caught unprepared and come to their rescue when they stepped in it

VDH says that the system there were using was also used by the so-called Biden administration, and I say that I dont know that Hegseth had any way to know that Goldberg had been added, which if true means that he did not do anything wrong.

These are small people who assume no responsibility for themselves but are more than ready to come down like a ton of bricks on someone else. In this Trump perfectly leads the way.
 
I am the EIC of a magazine (Skeptic).
If I suddenly & surprisingly found myself in a chat room with the SecDef, VP, etc. discussing pending military action, I would like to think that I would immediately alert them to the error & keep the matter private so as not to damage the reputation of our government & intelligence agencies, & give them the benefit of the doubt that everyone makes mistakes.
If, like Daniel Ellsberg & the Pentagon Papers (or the Abu Ghraib abuses), had Goldberg discovered illegal activities then okay, by all means, spend all day doing interviews & elevate your magazine as a legit platform for exposing crimes.
Were the airstrikes in and around Yemen’s capital against the Houthis illegal?
