"yes we (number 10) can"

Actually that is Democracy, what we were given, according to Jefferson, is a Constitutional Republic, "If you can keep it." They created a republic, and later the Bill of Rights, to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority.

And that is a form of Democracy.

We vote and majority gets to have tehir people represent the people.

We won and now our represention is making the changes the people wanted as best they can.

Nobodies rights are being infringed.
imposing a penalty on me because I refuse to buy a product isn't infringing on my rights?

You just dont like being in the minority.
nobody does, but i've been in the minority for more years than you can count. I seem to recall that you were quite angry at being in the minority for awhile and having some of your rights infringed upon though.

You were JUST fine defending the gov spying on us, LIES to go to war, torture and anything in the name of unfettered capitalism which then FUCKED this coutnry BUT good.
hey idiot, I've been blasting the patriot act 10x more than you ever have.

Now you try to turn policy differences into constitutional breaches?
and they are.

It is a democracy and CHEERED when the polls showed Bush did your bidding when the vast majority hated it.

see above about my feelings on bushco.

Yeah yeah yeah, you hate Bush NOW.

Like I said years ago , it will be hard to find anyone who voted for Bush one day.

I have never "seen" you blast the partiot act while Bush was in office.

Buying insurance is not a constitutional breach. Its a policy differance. We all pay taxes and we all use the benifits they give us. This is merely a way to make sure those who can pay pay their share of the cost.

Its just palin BULLSHIT to make this out to be some constitutional crisis.

Desh you stupid ass, STY has consistently been against the Patriot Act regardless of who was President, unlike you who has no problem with it under The Reneger.

The patriot act we now have is Not the same one as Bush had.

Im glad he was against it if he was.

I dont remember it.

You just keep calling him that.

Nixon also supported price controls and other policy features that would not be described as economic libertarianism.

This is why you have no credibility here Desh. You can't even fucking remember that i'm a Libertarian, NOT a republican. come back to me when you can remember that essential fact.

Actually that's your new partner in crime Desh's belief that I am repeating. Enjoy riding that bandwagon. Kind of like LSU football in the 1990's.

Then quit siding with the republican talking points.

I dont give a rats ass what label you are wearing this year.

When you back failed ideas like unfettered markets dont expect me to have to remember the way you chose to distance yourself from the disastors your ideas create.

We don't have unfettered markets.

Derivitives (sp) were a new financial instrument that government didn't quite know how to regulate. I'm sure in your mind you would like to kill all financial innovation by the private sector and have it only occur in the public sector so the government can appropriately regulate it before it reaches the market.

Your anti-capitalism rants are weak Desh.

Then any profits from said venture can be re-distributed proportionally, right. ;)

It's pretty simple with Desh. It is a black and white. You are either a Republican or Democrat. Democrat = Good, Republican = Bad. Not much more to it than that.

Ironically it very much follows Bush's line of thinking 'either you're with us or against us'.
