The real problem is that corporations like H1B visa holders because they can (and usually do) pay them less than an American at the same level. And they are effectively STUCK in the job since it's not possible to easily move an H1B visa. You have to get the new company to be willing to pay for it as well.

There are a lot of good engineers here in the US. But the CEO's want 'em cheap.

Actually no. I work in industry and spent decades in tech. So I know what H1B Visas are for and how they are used and abused by executroids.

H1B Visas are an ACTUAL threat to skilled American labor since they facilitate driving down wages for high skill workers here. These are the REAL threat to US workers.
