Hunter Biden state tax evasion

Retribution is what the man campaigned on.

"Donald Trump has told supporters not to just see him as a candidate but as "your retribution."

In his comeback bid for the White House, the former president -- twice impeached but twice acquitted and now twice indicted -- has vowed that if reelected, he will wield his power to personally remake parts of the federal government to a degree that historian Mark Updegrove said was unprecedented. Trump has promised to hamstring perceived enemies, including in the Department of Justice, which is currently investigating him, and target Republican bogeymen like President Joe Biden.

He swore in June to appoint a special prosecutor to "go after" the Bidens and that he would "totally obliterate the deep state," referring to a conspiratorial view of how the government operates.

"This is the final battle. ... Either they win or we win," he said in March."

Now this is what DuckAssist says about retribution and revenge.

"Revenge is a personal act of retaliation against someone for a perceived wrong, often driven by emotions and a desire to see the wrongdoer suffer. In contrast, retribution is a legally sanctioned punishment imposed by the state that is intended to be proportionate to the crime committed, focusing on justice rather than personal satisfaction."

Was the prosecution of Hunter revenge?
Yes.

Meh. Sounds to me like a bunch of biased journalists with guilty consciences are projecting and ascribing actions they'd take if they could to President Trump.

Thanks for admitting he wasn't charged for political reasons
Of course it was political. Why else were the repugs going after a private citizen? After everything was said and done, they still didn't have anything to connect to Joe that they could have acted on.

Irrelevant if it is Delaware, they wont come after a Biden.
The special counsel was appointed to prosecute Hunter Biden for felony tax crimes in California .....the state has income tax

Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, was indicted in the Central District of California Thursday.

Hunter Biden's state of legal residence

Hunter Biden's state of legal residence so he would be required to pay state income tax,,,,did he evaded them also?

As a CA resident, all income from all sources worldwide are taxable to CA.
