Oct 7 is when Hamas chose to violate the cease fire agreement. And pretending that they weren't responding to attacks in the month before October is just you wishing real hard. There is no moral high ground that Hamas can claim, they put those people in danger by illegally using them as shields in a war they began and continue. If they want the war to end, present the hostages and surrender, if the Palestinian people want it to end they should pressure their leadership to produce the hostages and surrender.

NO OCCUPATION =NO RESISTANCE TO OCCUPATION

It will end when the occupation ends and Palestinians return to their homes.
The law decrees the Israeli withdrawal. Support for the illegal occupation makes its supporters complicit.

I do. I believe that the world has the power to pressure them too, however as long as we promote their propaganda over the reality we are simply apologists for them, you reduce the power they have to pressure their leaders.

Except even when offered such they reject it because it doesn't include Jews leaving their homes... "From the river to the sea" is a chant of genocide, it is why they reject offers of peace that would include a two state solution.

Terrorists operate on funding. We broke down al-Qaeda by going after their money and their ability to move money.

The Gazans are funded by Iran. Same for Hezbollah. How do we stop a nation that funds terrorists short of going to war with them?

Yes, they have the power to convince adults in the area to pressure their leadership. They also have the power to effect the rest of the word emotionally. Now do we present it as pressure: "Hamas made decisions that led to this, and their action can end this now." or do we present the Hamas propaganda: "This is all those Dirty Jews fault!"

Personally I prefer we pressure Hamas to end this now.

If Palestine isn't hamas, why are they letting hamas sacrifice them to their god?

Hamas doesn't give a damn about Palestine but Palestinians don't give a damn about themselves either.

In our own homelands it's one thing but how can we give enough of a damn about Palestinian children essentially being sacrificed by their own parents? It's sick and disgusting but we can't help you until you release the prisoners and surrender.

The people support the actions of Hamas. They hide them and allow them to operate among them. The operation on October 7th, with all the training and equipment, took both time and money. The "people" knew about it and support "from the river to the sea". They are no less complicit than the German people of the 1930s and 1940s.
