Because DUMMYCRATS are so stupid (especially the female ones), I'll try to explain this as simply as possible..



From the moment a sex cell penetrates an egg cell a "conceptus" is formed in the woman's womb.



The conceptus. is alive.



The conceptus is an individual member of the species homo sapiens; i.e. it is a living human being.



The conceptus is a unique human being with its own unique DNA.



So, right from the very start of pregnancy - right from the moment of conception, the pregnant womam is carrying ANOTHER human being. The fertized egg cell inside her IS NOT HER BODY, it is a separate "body" that if not destroyed at some stage during pregnancy will be born as an separate, unique, individual infant in 9 months.



She has NOT RIGHT to destroy a unique, lining human being just because it happens to be temporality located in her uterus (womb).

Do you have children? When did you recognize the pregnancy as your child? I highly doubt it was not until after they were born...
Is a miscarriage the loss of a child who was deeply wanted by the family? Is an abortion no the loss of a child because he or she is "unwanted"?
If you don't want to create children then be Really responsible enough not to do so...then abortion and the "right "to terminate that life, won't be an issue...
 
As a political issue, I do not care a bit about Abortion.

Who uses Abortion anymore anyway?

There are dozens of better options, starting with, abstinence until you ready for children. Do want a child, keep your legs together! Why pay for the cow when you can get the milk for free. Humans are not terribly ethical creatures. Particularly young males.

There is the Morning After pill, which I wouldn't have in my life, given a choice, but then, I don't sow my seed in unwelcome fields. I have five wonderful grand kids!

There is carry to term and give up for adoption, the humane approach.

There is the sensible precaution of Condoms, Pull out, and Birth Control Pills.

Who in the hell still uses major, dangerous, Abdominal Surgery, in place of the above?

And in any case, those who would use Abortion in place of the above options, will be self-weeded out of the gene-pool in a couple of hundred years.

Who an I to tell another person what they can or cannot do with their precious unborn child? I do NOT want that responsibility!

Abortion, given the other options, should be so rare, that there isn't enough people to whom it matters, to be a significant political constituency!
