No I am not . My wife was a federal court reporter for the Chief Justice of the Northern District of Texas for more than 30 years. So I am more cognizant of how the court system works than most people are. Trump MAY stand trial. But if the judge dismisses the case with prejudice it cannot be retried.

There needs to be a jury impaneled for prejudice to attach. For a judge to dismiss a case after a jury has been impaneled requires something major and new, not around before the jury was impaneled. There is no magic way that judges can cover up cases without an appeal allowed.

Then have your wife explain to you that a judge cannot just decide to attach prejudice for the fun of it. The trial has to be in full swing for prejudice to be attached. That would require the trial first not to be dismissed.
 
Another thread that will look galactically stupid when the judge rules. There is absolutely no chance that she will dismiss the case on those grounds, and if she does, she will lose on appeal. She already rejected the motion to dismiss on the grounds that the espionage act is too vague. And she will reject this motion as well, and we can all laugh at the clown that started this thread. Sorry, but even Trump knows this was a non-starter, it's just another delay tactic.

Wow, the Fake Doc has a Fake Court Reporter he's married to. Too funny. She's a court reporter because she can use that machine. There is no insight provided by a fucking secretary. Dismissal before a trial can be appealed. And of course the government would appeal any decision to dismiss, and they would prevail. But that isn't going to happen. The PRA is crystal clear, Trump is just too fucking stupid to understand it.

He claims more legal knowledge than others, due to relationship with wife, and yet is wrong on EVERY legal issue he pushes as fact.

He stated as if fact Fani would be kicked from the case and was WRONG. He is stating as if fact a single judge can merely say the words 'dismissed with prejudice' and on appellate court can even examine if that ruling was correct, and he is WRONG. He states the PRA allows Trump to do what he did, and will soon see he is WRONG. And so on and so on.


He has a 99% batting average on being WRONG on all legal matters on things Trump.

The only one with a similarly bad batting average is PostModernProfit, who claims to be an actual lawyer (admitted slum lord lawyer).

The OP is nonsense. trump is charged with withholding and concealing classified and top secret documents.

It's pretty obvious why no other POTUS has ever been charged.

But...Cannon will indeed let trump off the hook once a jury is seated. That's why she said she'd decided his unlimited presidential immunity at a later date. Once a jury is seated, double jeopardy is attached.
