The continuous idiocy of guns in America;

The government of Kansas City: Democrats have long held a significant dominance of politics throughout the city. In the last 100 years, only four Republicans have served as mayor.

Poor Anchovies.

Among laws St. Louis has - according to St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones:

• Ban “military-grade” assault weapons
• Prevent the sale or transfer of guns to minors
• Take action on ghost guns, which are untraceable firearms
• Prepare St. Louis for the passage of Blair’s Law, which would ban the firing of gunfire into the air to celebrate an occasion
• Prohibit anyone convicted of insurrection or hate crimes from having guns in St. Louis

Tishaura Oneda Jones (/tɪʃɑːrʌ/ tish-ARE-ə; born March 10, 1972) is an American politician who has served as the mayor of St. Louis, Missouri since April 2021. A member of the Missouri Democratic Party, Jones served from 2008 to 2013 in the Missouri House of Representatives; and as Treasurer of the City of St.

Thanks, that was easy, when “copy and paste” has to resort to copying and pasting he’s done

Isn't that what you did with the blatant lies from the DNC controlled "Associated Press?"

The OP was just cut and paste from the radical left demagogues.

”Could Missouri’s ‘stand your ground’ law apply to the Super Bowl celebration shooters?”

“KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The man accused of firing the first shots at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl rally told authorities he felt threatened, while a second man said he pulled the trigger because someone was shooting at him, according to court documents.”

“Experts say that even though the shooting left one bystander dead and roughly two dozen people injured, 23-year-old Lyndell Mays and 18-year-old Dominic Miller might have good cases for self-defense through the state’s “stand your ground” law.”

“Trial attorney Daniel Ross described the stand your ground law as a “formidable defense” that he and many other Kansas City defense attorneys anticipate will be used in Mays’ and Miller’s cases. He said the law puts the onus on the prosecution to disprove claims that a shooting is lawful self-defense.”

“Collateral damage under Missouri law is excused if you’re actually engaged in lawful self-defense and there’s other folks injured,” he said.”

“Kansas City already was grappling with the shooting of Yarl, a Black teenager, who survived a bullet wound to the head when he went to the wrong house in April 2023 to pick up his brothers. Andrew Lester, an 85-year-old white man, is planning to claim self-defense when he goes to trial in October. His attorney said the retiree was terrified by the stranger on his doorstep.”

“Missouri has few firearm regulations, and two of its cities — Kansas City and St. Louis — annually have among the nation’s highest homicide rates.”

Worked for Rittenhouse and Zimmerman, why not these two dimwits, they thought they were protecting themselves just like Kyle and George?

Now seeing under Missouri law they may have been acting in self defense, does that make them “good guys with a gun?”

And the idiocy continues

What a lame, stupid and tiresome argument. Why is self-defense such a bad thing to progressive leftists who think that defunding police, releasing criminals into the public realm and Fascistic tactics against political opponents is awesome?

Do idiots on the left really think that law abiding citizens should not have a right to protection? That's rather moronic.

As for this case, the defense is lame and will get laughed at in court. How was Rittenhouse wrong? The guy he shot had a gun. The other guy whacked him over the head with a skateboard. Both had criminal records.

As for Zimmerman, he was being attacked by a young black thug who attempted to kill him. Why are you FOR criminals and against the law abiding? Are you THAT fucking stupid? Why yes, you are. That was rhetorical.

Poor Anchovies.

Idiots like Arsecheese don't care about facts, reality or the truth. It's all about an autocratic agenda dontyaknow.

Once again, “earl,” point is with State gun laws so lenient, nearly anyone can get a gun,

This is a dumb lie. Why do you keep repeating the same stupid lies that have already been refuted. Show us the language that makes it easy for ANYONE to buy a gun.

no matter where they live or who runs the Government where they live, and now, the same two dimwits can plead the case of self defense using the same lenient State gun laws

They can claim it all they want halfwit, but the courts will laugh at it and convict them. They were acting criminally.

As I said, the gun idiocy continues

The only gun idiocy I see is yours halfwit. :palm:

You'd probably shoot your eye out.

But without the gun those shooters couldn’t shoot anyone, duh

WRONG again shit-for-brains. It's widely known that even in the most confiscatory environment criminals find a way to arm themselves against unarmed populations. The worst offenders are usually autocratic Government regimes.

France is the best example. There, where guns are very strictly regulated, a bunch of criminal thugs were armed with fully automatic rifles and hand grenades. Gosh, how did they get those if there are laws? Only halfwits ask such stupid questions and make such asinine arguments.

Wow, doesn't AP blatantly lie.

St. Louis has some of the most stringent gun control laws in the nation.

But AP - as part of the DNC propaganda corps LIES about Missouri law being the factor when the BLUE CITY has extremely strict anti-gun laws.

https://library.municode.com/mo/st._louis/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=TIT15PUPEMOWE_DIVVIIIWE

As for the rest of the bullshit - it's laughable demagoguery put out by the party in their efforts to disarm the law abiding.

Remember how AP fucking LIED that they couldn't release photos because the shooters were "minors?" 23 and 18 - not minors. AP lied because the shooters are BLACK GANG BANGERS and the little Goebbels are pushing a fake narrative.

Low IQ progressive fools like Arsecheese love being lied to and gaslighted. It makes it easier for the Government to control them. ;)

The Second Amendment does not speak to gun laws, lenient or not.

“The U.S. has the highest rate of firearm deaths, nearly five times that of the second-highest country, France”

So much for that “point”

Kansas city and St Louis banned open carry unless one has a permit. so, again, you're wrong.

Wasn’t wrong the first time, nor “again,” guns are everywhere in Missouri:

“Missouri law generally allows firearms to be carried by adults, including anyone over 18, at parades and other large-scale gatherings such as the parade downtown and the rally at Union Station, which were expected to draw hundreds of thousands of people”

“ As for Board Bill 107, there would still be an obstacle to enforcing it, even if approved locally. It would either need approval through a Republican-heavy Missouri legislature or Missouri voters would need to pass a ballot initiative that allows local municipalities to control gun laws.”
