Much of that increase came in 2021 and 2022, around the time that other retailers — like clothing and sporting goods stores — also saw profit margins jump. Grocery-store margins have stayed elevated, the analysis finds, even as other retailers’ margins have fallen back to more normal levels based on recent history.

“President Biden has made clear that as input prices fall, corporations should pass those savings on to consumers,” Michael Kikukawa, a White House spokesman, said this week.

I paid $1.99/lb for boneless, skinless chicken breasts yesterday. So, I stock up. Bulk black beans and rice can feed me for a month, if I wish. Lean pork is also inexpensive. Bulk oatmeal for breakfast is dirt cheap. Eggs are dropping in price. Toss in some fruit and veggies and you’ve got a complete diet.

One thing that affects the price of groceries, and everything that gets delivered, is the price of Diesel fuel.

The Oil companies are also making record breaking profits during this economic recovery period.

Biden sent out a letter to all the major Oil Companies, all making record breaking profits, asking them to up their productions of gasoline and diesel way back in June, 2022.

Well, they did up their gasoline production, and that helped the consumers, and to bring prices back down to normal at the Gasoline pumps.

But, they deliberately did not up their production of Diesel, deliberately causing the price of diesel to even rise higher, as their way to negatively affect the economy and deliberately make the president look bad for the price of Groceries, and Restaurant prices that continue to soar through the roof.

It was a way for the gasoline manufacturers to look good for lowering the price of gasoline, while disguising the fact that they are deliberately causing inflation by keeping the price of diesel high- which is causing groceries to remain high- and makes the president look bad, and creates a talking point for the Republicans!

So this is just politics as usual! And the oil companies are still to blame for the unnecessary inflation at the Grocery stores by refusing to up their production of diesel and normalize or stabilize their own Diesel market!

This is all about to change as the Teamsters Union Boss is just about to endorse Biden, and the Trucking industry's hardest working Americans start fighting back with the Oil Industry to lower the price of Diesel, to save their own businesses, jobs, and careers! An industry that has been hurt the worst by the Oil Companies refusal to up their production of diesel- intentionally to keep their profits high on diesel- just to make the president look bad for their own selfish profits and political purposes- and while making record profits- on the backs of America's hardest working American Consumers!

And so there- there are the real facts! Let's just make sure that the VOTERS have all the facts to help them make the best decisions, and vote for their best interests!

This is not about inflation, but the fact the owners are using it to gouge the consumers. Our inflation rates are far lower than in other industrial countries. Biden has worked hard to fight it and has accomplished a lot. Bidinomics is conventional economics using the normal tools that are available. Biden did not start a war in Ukraine that elevated the price of oil and the price of food.

I knew two years ago when prices were skyrocketing due to COVID supply chain issues that even it was over they'd never lower their prices accordingly.

Once corporate pigs get a taste of increased revenue, they never force themselves to go back.
