When it is born, it is a baby...no matter what an "expectant mom" has to say. It is a fetus until it is born...when it becomes a baby.

Instead of asking an 8 - 9 month "expectant mom"...ask a woman who has been raped, is pregnant as a result of that rape...and wants to terminate her pregnancy.

That's disgusting...and I sympathize with the situation..
I believe that there should be exceptions for rape or incest..or notj
... but it's still a baby... so an abortion is a termination of the development...and life...of that child...A wanted or unwanted child is the same developing life...

Well, if we are going to debate using emotional arguments rather than science, logic, compassion, ethics -- this works as good as Toxic's miscarriage thing. Apparently if you abort a BABY, it's murder, even if it is unrecognizable as one. But if it's just a clump of cells that the body expels, it's not.

It's a she, and yes, you are right. She blew it the first day by announcing "I'm a doctor!" Physicians call themselves "physician," not "doctor," to distinguish between an MD and a PhD. For example, our former forum had one poster who was an actual physician, and he never called himself "doctor."

I just watched the entire debate and DeSantis is nowhere near as polished as the greasy weasel, he tended to give answers to the questions. The greasy Weasel dances around the questions because has no defense for his poor governorship. I loved the part where he lied about covid deaths and the stats were in graph form right on the screen in front of him.
I consider jarod the Subway sandwich boy to be pretty substandard in his posts so I did watch the entire debate and as usual, his OP is nothing but bullshit intended to draw more attention to himself which is something he must not get at home or the "office".

Speak to an 8-9 month pregnant woman and they inevitably refer to her child as a baby. No that is not true at times they are trying to terminate babies with birth defects that are still compatible with life. There have been late term abortion attempts that resulted in live birth of a normal baby.

Yes, once the four-chambered heart has formed, around 7-8 weeks of gestation. The sound heard prior to that, referenced in so-called "fetal heartbeat laws," is not a heartbeat as no heart exists prior to 7-8 weeks from conception.

Any woman with a pregnancy that is wanted refers to their child as a baby at all stages...and yes...termination for non-life threatening birth defects is factual...
